Annual event features family fun, food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display
HUNTSVILLE, TX — The City of Huntsville is gearing up for its annual 4th of July Celebration, a cherished tradition that brings the community together for a day of fun, food, and fireworks. This year’s festivities will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the scenic Kate Barr Ross Park.
The event kicks off at 4:00 PM with a variety of children’s activities designed to keep the young ones entertained. Families can also enjoy an array of food vendors offering delicious treats until 8:00 PM. Admission to the park is free, allowing everyone to partake in the celebration without any cost. However, food prices from vendors will vary, so attendees are advised to bring some cash.
As the sun sets, attendees are encouraged to find the perfect spot in the park to witness the spectacular fireworks display, which will begin at 9:15 PM sharp. The vibrant fireworks are expected to light up the Huntsville sky, providing a grand finale to the day’s celebrations.
Visitors are welcome to bring personal coolers, but the city has issued a few guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Glass containers are prohibited, and alcohol is not permitted within the park. Additionally, to maintain safety, personal fireworks are not allowed on the premises.
