Bearkats hit the road to Tarleton
STEPHENVILLE - The Sam Houston volleyball team returns to the road this weekend for the Tarleton State Invitational at the EECU Center.
The Bearkats will play three matches in three days, opening against host Tarleton State Thursday at 11 a.m. Sam Houston will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Friday at 2 p.m. before closing the tournament against Denver Saturday at 10 a.m.
Sam Houston enters the tournament 5-2 after most recently falling to Stephen F. Austin, 3-1, Tuesday night.
Chloe Monson leads the Bearkats with 99 kills, while Bella Wood has added 73. Brenlin Garlitz leads the team with 127 assists, and Shaelin White has recorded a team-high 118 digs. Rachelle Reed leads Sam Houston at the net with 29 blocks.
