The Huntsville, Texas law firm of Moak & Moak, P.C. was established in 1972. Together Oliver James Moak and Sam A. Moak practiced law in a small firm dedicated to the highest ideals of ethics while maintaining close relationships with their clients. Oliver James Moak retired in 2003 and passed away in 2014. Sam A. Moak’s practice is focused on Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, Real Estate and Transactional law.
Sam A. Moak grew up in Huntsville, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Sam worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma in engineered sales until deciding to listen to his Father, Oliver James (O.J.) Moak – Founder, and go to law school. Sam earned his Juris Doctorate at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, but not before Clerking for Judge Charlie Baird Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and attending the University of Texas School of Law. Sam joined his father in the practice of law in 1997.
After a very successful career in criminal and civil litigation, Sam decided to focus his practice on Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate, Business Organizations and Real Estate. Sam has been selected as the Huntsville Item’s Readers Choice Attorney of the Year numerous times since 2003.
