Conference USA Unveils 2023-24 Men’s Basketball Schedule, Season to Tip-off on January 6, Concluding with Championship at Propst Arena

DALLAS – The 2023-24 Conference USA men’s basketball schedule has been unveiled, with Sam Houston set to launch their inaugural season at home against Louisiana Tech.

Kicking off on Jan. 6, the 72-game season stretches until March 9, featuring each of the nine league teams in home-and-away clashes against all others. The postseason will culminate at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala., hosting the 2024 CUSA Basketball Championships from March 12-16.

Sam Houston will commence their CUSA journey hosting Louisiana Tech on Jan. 6, followed by Western Kentucky on Jan. 10. Their first road games will take them to Middle Tennessee State on Jan. 13, and then to Liberty on Jan. 20.

Johnson Coliseum will welcome former WAC rival New Mexico State on Jan. 25 and UTEP on Jan. 27. The Bearkats will then head to Western Kentucky on Feb. 1 and to Miami to square off against FIU on Feb. 3.

February continues with Sam Houston visiting Jacksonville State on the 8th and hosting FIU on the 15th. Liberty will travel to Huntsville on Feb. 17 before the Bearkats journey to Las Cruces, New Mexico for a rematch against the Aggies on Feb. 22.

The Bearkats will then visit UTEP in El Paso on Feb. 24, prior to welcoming Middle Tennessee State to Huntsville on March 2. The regular season will wrap up with an away game at Louisiana Tech on March 6, and a home game against JSU on March 9.

The league games’ broadcast details and start times will be shared in a future announcement.
