Cricut Class for Beginners

Huntsville Public Library will host a beginner Cricut workshop in the Makerspace on Aug. 27.

Cricut Class for Beginners is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Huntsville Public Library Makerspace, 1219 13th St., Huntsville.

The workshop will cover the basics of the Cricut Design Space website, including how to upload images, choose fonts and prepare designs for heat transfer projects. Participants will use Cricut Venture and Maker machines to cut vinyl, then learn how to weed and heat press a design onto a canvas bag.

Seats are limited and registration is required. Attendees should use the city calendar listing for the latest instructions before going.
