Free Summer Food Giveaway at New Waverly Library

The New Waverly Library, in partnership with the Houston Food Bank, will host a free summer food giveaway for children ages 17 and younger.
Each eligible child will receive approximately 10 days’ worth of breakfast, lunch and snack items, along with one bag of pantry staples and one bag of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The giveaway will be conducted in a drive-thru format. Families should remain in their vehicles during pickup.
No advance registration is required. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Proof of age is required for each child. Accepted documents include a birth certificate, school identification card or report card. Additional acceptable forms of verification may be announced by organizers.
