The Homemade Exchange Dog Days of Summer

Granny Camp plans a Sunday afternoon handmade-goods exchange in downtown Huntsville.

The Homemade Exchange Dog Days of Summer is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 30, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Granny Camp, 1219 Sam Houston Ave. in Huntsville.

Granny Camp describes the gathering as a handmade exchange built around summer food, table items and small craft goods. Each guest should bring 15 of one homemade or handcrafted item, and participants will leave with 15 different items made by other attendees.

The tickets are $35 and it includes lunch, snacks, drinks, a hands-on class, a seasonal craft project and a guided exchange. Seating is limited to 30 spots. Ticketing is handled through the Granny Camp store page.
