Mayor Russell and Tish Humphrey will host an evening of community and local giving Sept. 24 at The Vintage in downtown Huntsville.
The Third Annual Mayor's Ball begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at The Vintage, 1029 12th Street in downtown Huntsville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and free parking is available.
Mayor Russell Humphrey and Tish Humphrey will host the evening, which is intended to bring together residents, business owners and community leaders while giving back locally. The Mayor's Ball support has benefited organizations including CASA of Walker County, Meals on Wheels, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and Isaiah 117 House.
General admission is $55 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, entertainment and admission to the event. The $100 Mayor's Circle Community Champion ticket includes general-admission benefits, a pre-event cocktail reception with the Humphreys, a complimentary cocktail, reserved seating and special recognition. Proceeds from the upgraded portion of that ticket will increase the charitable contribution made through this year's event.
