Veterans End of Life Planning Discussion

Veterans, spouses and family members are invited to a discussion about end-of-life preparation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in the Community Room at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park Drive in Huntsville.

Walker County Veterans Service Officer Bob Kane will discuss VA survivor benefits, Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home's Billy Cauthen will talk about funeral preplanning, and Attorney Sam Moak will teach about wills, durable powers of attorney, trusts, and communicating final wishes.

An attorney should be consulted for advice about individual wills, trusts or estate plans.
