What Holds the Eye MFA Thesis Dance Concert

The Sam Houston State University Department of Dance presents What Holds the Eye, an MFA thesis dance concert by choreographer Mary Kuhn, on Friday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. Both performances begin at 8 p.m. in the Montague Dance Theater at the Gaertner Performing Arts Center, 815 17th Street in Huntsville.

The concert is presented in partial fulfillment of the Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance. The department describes the work as asking what happens when athleticism becomes expression.
