HUNTSVILLE, TX – The Huntsville Independent School District (Huntsville ISD) has announced that all its campuses and facilities will be closed for the entire week of March 13-17, 2023, in observance of the spring break. The closure includes all administrative offices, educational facilities, and sports facilities of the district.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, March 7th, through the official website of the Huntsville ISD. The district officials advised parents to ensure that the closure of the campuses is reflected on their calendars and to make alternative childcare arrangements, if needed.

The district officials also stated that while the buildings will be closed to the public during the break, construction activity will continue. The district’s construction team will take advantage of the school closure to complete ongoing construction projects in various schools within the district.

The closure of Huntsville ISD campuses during spring break is an annual tradition.
