In celebration of its fifth anniversary and reaching a significant milestone of 10,000 followers on Facebook, Jump Around Moonwalks is hosting the Huntsville Food Tour on March 17th. The event, taking place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, is a heartfelt thank you from Jump Around Moonwalks to the community for its unwavering support. Chris Brown, the visionary behind Jump Around Moonwalks, has orchestrated an event that goes beyond mere celebration, aiming to foster community spirit and joy through a shared love for food and entertainment.
The Huntsville Food Tour promises an array of food options, with food trucks and vendor booths serving BBQ, African, Mexican, sweets and candy, and American cuisine. In addition to the gastronomic delights, the event will feature a free kid zone, free Easter bunny pictures, and live music, ensuring a fun-filled day for the entire family.
Admission to the event is free, with attendees only needing to pay for food from the vendors. This setup aligns with Jump Around Moonwalks’ commitment to giving back to the community. “Huntsville is deprived a little whenever it comes to different types of entertainment and community gatherings… So I just wanted to bring something to the community that can bring people together and everybody loves food and everybody loves fun,” Brown explained, underlining the importance of community gatherings.
Reflecting on the five-year journey of Jump Around Moonwalks, Brown likened running a business in today’s economy to playing a chess game, emphasizing the challenges and the significant achievement of reaching the five-year mark. “Reaching our five-year mark has been a huge milestone, an accomplishment for us and it couldn’t have been done without the hard work the community has put into supporting us and us just being able to show up for them also,” he remarked.
The event will be held in the familiar setting of the color bar parking lot, a location known for hosting community events.
