Blake Meyer

Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Blake Justin Meyer also known as 'Rebel Blake', a man with endless talent and so much love still left to give. Blake was born May 20, 1987, and transitioned out of this life surrounded by his loved ones on July 20, 2026, leaving a void that can never be filled. Through his short journey of 39 years, he has touched many lives with his wisdom, kindness, humor, talent, and unwavering spirit of perseverance. Blake was known for his practical jokes, goofiness, the funny ways he would make up words, helping others and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. He was also very adventurous, fearless, always down for a good time, and loved doing anything that would make his loved one's smile. His favorite things to do were to work on, ride, and burnout on his Harley Davidson Softail Standard that he called 'Rebel Moon'. He also enjoyed watching car races, fishing, boating, jamming out to great music, and all things loud & fast.

He loved trying new foods and barbecuing. His wife’s pineapple upside down cake and snickerdoodle cookies were some of his absolute favorites. Blake built a successful career as a Master Mechanic for over 10 years.

He loved to fix things, take things apart, and put them back together, especially with his wife. There was nothing that Blake couldn't fix. He was also a self-taught tattoo artist who did many of his own tattoos and special ones for his family. This was a passion he loved sharing and bonding over with his daughter, Paizley. Blake leaves behind his loving wife of 13 years, Brittney; his children Blake Jr, Robbie, and Paizley; his bonus children Alayna, Jayden and Joe; his brother Caleb; his doggo’s Gunner Man & Chevy Bo, and his grandcat Bob Cat. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10am-10pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home for those who would like to come by to celebrate his life and pay their respects. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to all of those who showed up for Blake to give him the most epic and unforgettable last ride and to all who continue to show support for his loved ones in this difficult time. He will be missed greatly and forever remembered.
