Carmen Bachmann August 12, 1942 – May 13, 2026 Carmen Bachmann, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026. Born on August 12, 1942, Carmen lived a life rooted in deep faith and devotion to her family. As a proud Air Force wife, Carmen embraced the challenges of military life, traveling the world, anchoring her home through many moves and deployments. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother of three. As a devout Catholic, Carmen spent many years sharing her love of God as a teacher at the many places she lived. She took great joy in preparing parish children for their holy sacraments leaving a lasting spiritual legacy. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and her profound faith, which guided her through every chapter of life. Carmen was an incredibly talented crafter. Her hands were rarely still, and she expressed her love by creating. While crocheting and sewing were her favorite pastimes, she possessed an adventurous creative spirit, frequently dabbling in ceramics, painting, and various other crafts over the years. Her handmade treasures will be cherished forever by those who received them. She was also a musician who played piano and guitar. She was preceded in death by her husband Bradley A. and son Brian David. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving family.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Davis (Lawrence, Jr.), and James Bachmann (Veronica), her two sisters Rachel Barrera and Cristela (Baby) Garcia; her grandchildren Nastassja Schmitt, Lawrence Davis, III., Noah Bachmann, Henry Bachmann, Samuel Bachmann, Amanda Vu, Colby Bachmann, Caitlyn Bachmann, and a beautiful lineage of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at St. Thomas Catholic Church beginning at 9:45 AM. A rosary will be at 10:00 AM and mass will begin at 10:30 AM. She will be laid to rest following services at College Station Cemetery. Memorial condolences to the family may be made at www.shmfh.com. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Huntsville, Texas in honor of Carmen.
