She grew up in the Mississippi Delta and started working at a young age. She moved to Texas in 1953 with her young family and began working at Houston Lighting and Power (HL&P). Ann enjoyed traveling and went on many trips with her family and her second husband Clyde Bigler where she enjoyed the sights across our country either RVing, cruising, or memorable road trips.
