Gary Wayne Wise, 79, of Huntsville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Gary was born on June 27, 1946, in Springhill, Louisiana, to John Walker Wise and Bernice Nolte Wise.
He married Nancy, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. She survives him at their home in Huntsville, Texas. Together, they built a warm and close-knit blended family.
Gary is survived by his children, Troy Wise (Rick), Shea Wise (Jed), and Neisa Wise LaSelva (Matt); and by Nancy’s children, John Mark Wise (Richard) and Cindy Wise Johnson (Greg). He also leaves behind four beloved granddaughters: Rylee and Jillian, daughters of Neisa; and Jackie and Josie, daughters of Cindy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walker Wise and Bernice Nolte Wise, and his brothers, Merrill Wise and Mike Wise.
