Reflecting on a year of impact, SAAFE House calls for community support to help survivors this holiday season.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — As 2024 comes to a close, SAAFE House is highlighting its significant impact in the fight against domestic violence and sexual assault while inviting the community to continue supporting its mission during the holiday season.

In its 2024 Community Impact Report, SAAFE House reported serving 1,268 clients across Walker, Polk, San Jacinto, and Trinity counties, including 405 children. The organization provided 35,291 essential services throughout the year, ranging from emergency shelter and crisis intervention to legal advocacy and support for secondary victims.

With four outreach offices and two emergency shelters, SAAFE House offers free, life-saving services to survivors. Their offerings include face-to-face crisis intervention, basic living essentials, and prevention education.

As part of its year-end reflection, SAAFE House is encouraging donations to sustain these vital programs. Contributions are tax-deductible and can be made in several ways:
