Sundown at Sam’s Moves Indoors Due to Weather Concerns; Performances Continue at Walker Education Center

HUNTSVILLE, TX – Due to the uncertainty of the weather, the Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Republic of Texas Presidential Library has announced a change of venue for tonight’s Sundown at Sam’s performances on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Originally planned to take place outdoors, the event will now be held in the auditorium at the Katy & E. Don Walker, Sr. Education Center, located at 1402 19th Street, Huntsville.

Despite the last-minute change, attendees can still expect an entertaining evening filled with live music, kicking off at 6:30 PM with performances by local talents Logan McCune and Mary Brett, followed by Jesse Wortham.

The organizers assure that refreshments will still be available for purchase during the event. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks to enjoy while taking in the performances. Additionally, event t-shirts will be on sale throughout the evening as a memento for those in attendance.

The Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Republic of Texas Presidential Library encourages everyone to help spread the word about the change in venue and continue to support these talented artists. Despite the unforeseen weather conditions, the show will go on, providing a night of memorable entertainment for all who attend.
