4th of July Family Celebration & Watermelon Eating Contest
4 pm to 8 pm at Kate Barr Ross Park
486 State Hwy 75 North
Fireworks start at 9:15 pm
Watermelon Eating Event times at 4:45 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, 7 pm and 7:45 pm
Children’s activities and food vendors from 4 pm to 8 pm. Admission into the park is free. Food prices from the vendors will vary. Personal coolers are welcome, but no glass containers, please! Alcohol is NOT permitted. No personal fireworks.

New Waverly Community 4th of July Event
Our hometown celebration begins with lunch at the Elementary School followed by the auction at 1pm. Raffle tickets are $1/each or a book of 6 for $5!
All proceeds benefit the youth of the community.
In traditional New Waverly fashion, at dark we will complete the evening with a spectacular fireworks display in celebration of our freedom.
