HUNTSVILLE, Texas — A new restaurant is headed to the former Taco Cabana location in Huntsville.
Jaggers signage is now up at 253 Interstate 45 S., confirming the fast-casual restaurant is taking over the former Taco Cabana building.

Hello Huntsville has confirmed from a source close to the project that the expected opening is 1st quarter, 2027.
The property was listed for lease earlier this year. A LoopNet listing described the building as a 2,328-square-foot freestanding restaurant with an existing drive-thru. The property is no longer being advertised on the site.

Jaggers was created by Texas Roadhouse founder Kent Taylor. The first location opened in Noblesville, Indiana, in 2014, and the brand has since expanded into Texas and other states.
The menu includes burgers, hand-breaded chicken sandwiches and tenders, salads, fries, tots and milkshakes.

Jaggers is part of the Texas Roadhouse restaurant family. In 2021, Texas Roadhouse announced an agreement with The Saxton Group to develop Jaggers locations in East and Central Texas and the Tulsa, Oklahoma, market.
The brand continues to expand in Texas. A Jaggers location is also in development in College Station, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
