HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS – Renowned agricultural company, King Ranch, Inc., appears to be moving forward with its plans for growth in East Texas. Following an initial announcement in early March 2022 that unveiled plans for a new King Ranch Ag & Turf 25,000-square-foot store in Huntsville, there have been developments over the summer of 2023. A signpost near Powell Rd & I-45 Frontage Rd in Huntsville indicates the imminent arrival of King Ranch in the locale. This expansion in Huntsville, along with another in Livingston, represents the company’s commitment to investing in the local communities of East Texas, and will also result in the creation of up to 15 new jobs. Roles will range from sales to mechanics and administrative staff.
The upcoming Huntsville store will carry the complete range of John Deere products, with offerings that span from garden and lawn equipment to small and mid-sized tractors and hay balers. A full-service repair shop and parts section will also be included on-site. Notably, the store will provide same-day pickup for King Ranch Turfgrass, with six types of turfgrass available.
Lance Hancock, Vice President of Retail Operations for King Ranch, Inc., expressed the company’s dedication to the communities in East Texas in the intial realease in 2022. “When we first expanded to Jasper, we pledged to invest in the East Texas community. These additional locations in Huntsville and Livingston serve as further fulfillment of that promise,” stated Hancock.
