Larry Cook presents his new book, Brushes with History, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the auditorium of the Katy and E. Don Walker Sr. Education Center. The Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library hosts this free event.
