Digital Empowerment: Grow with Google’s Free Virtual Workshops for Entrepreneurs
HUNTSVILLE, TX — Starting this September and running through November, small business owners and entrepreneurs can benefit from a series of free virtual workshops, courtesy of Grow with Google in collaboration with Main Street America.
Through the Grow with Google Digital Coaches program, a unique initiative designed to support entrepreneurs in small towns nationwide, 10 coaches spread across America will offer both live and on-demand trainings. The focus will be on enhancing the digital skills of business owners, touching on topics ranging from improving online visibility and sales to enhancing business productivity.
The upcoming virtual workshops, open to all small business owners and entrepreneurs, are:
- September 14: “Increase Your Holiday Sales Using Google Tools,” led by Courtney Stringer of Virginia, Teresa Heger of Michigan, and Chelsea Brosterhous of Oregon. The session aims to equip businesses for the holiday season, especially those without an e-commerce setup.
- October 5: “Understanding Your Customer with the Use of Google Tools,” led by Lindsey Newland of Iowa, Janet Hurn of Ohio, and April Ross of Georgia. This workshop will delve into crafting buyer personas, streamlining messaging, and harnessing AI and Google Bard for customer insights.
- November 14: “Top 10 Google Tools to Grow Your Business,” during Global Entrepreneurship Week, led by Tierra Norwood of North Carolina, Joshua Miller of Pennsylvania, and Jarrod Foster of Oklahoma. Attendees will learn about Google’s most potent tools for marketing, analytics, and business collaboration.
Rebekah Kolb, Main Street Manager of Huntsville, emphasized the opportunity this presents to the local community, encouraging small business owners to register and attend. Even for those unable to participate in the live sessions, recordings will be made available subsequently on Main Street America’s YouTube channel and the Grow with Google Digital Coaches program webpage.
