Every campus improved in 2023, with three earning academic distinctions from the Texas Education Agency
HUNTSVILLE, TX – Huntsville ISD has great news to share! The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has officially released its 2023 A–F accountability ratings, which evaluate schools and districts based on standardized test performance, college readiness, and other key academic metrics. Huntsville ISD is extremely proud to share that every one of its campuses demonstrated academic improvement this year.
All campuses earned at least a ‘C’ rating, reflecting steady progress and growth across the board.
Scott Johnson Elementary and Mance Park Middle School led the way, each earning an impressive ‘B’ rating!
In addition to these strong ratings, three of our campuses earned Distinction Designations for exceptional performance:
- Scott Johnson Elementary — Top 25% Comparative Closing the Gaps Distinction
- Samuel Walker Houston Elementary — Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts Distinction
- Mance Park Middle School — Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth Distinction
