Relocation of public meetings due to ongoing construction of the new 44,000-square-foot City Hall complex.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — The City of Huntsville has announced that starting June 4, 2024, all meetings for the City Council, Planning Commission, and Board of Adjustments will be relocated to the Conference Room in the New Service Center at 448 Highway 75. This move is temporary, lasting until the completion of the new City Hall.

Currently, these meetings are being held at the Huntsville Public Library while construction is underway. To assist residents, a map highlighting entrance, parking, and door access has been provided.

The new City Hall, a 44,000-square-foot municipal complex, is set to open in September 2024. The three-story facility will feature a grand entry staircase, a third-floor observation deck, and ballistic-rated council chambers. The project also includes the demolition of the existing complex, with efforts made to preserve a heritage tree on the site.
