Heather has been in the shelter since December 2022, marking an unfortunate stretch of 286 days. The effects of shelter life and being in a kennel have taken a distressing toll on Heather—she’s dropped a concerning 12 pounds in weight since coming in. We have increased her food intake but it’s evident that what she truly needs is an escape from the shelter’s stressful environment.
Heather’s disposition remains as endearing as ever; her tail wags constantly and her smile is always present. It baffles us that this sweet girl is still without a forever home. She recently spent the day as an office dog and Heather exhibited impeccable manners, staying accident-free and radiating affection throughout the day!
We’re committed to finding her the secure and loving home she so greatly deserves!
