Community events provide essential supplies for students heading back to school.
HUNTSVILLE, TX — Huntsville is gearing up to support students with two significant school supply giveaway events, ensuring students of all ages are prepared for the upcoming school year.
On Saturday, August 3, the Community Praise Ministry will host its 19th Annual School Supply Giveaway from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Huntsville Elementary, located at 87 Martin Luther King Blvd. The event will provide essential items such as pencils, pens, paper, folders, highlighters, crayons, markers, glue, erasers, composition books, and scissors, targeting students from Pre-K to college.
The following day, on Sunday, August 4, another event titled “Fuel Your Sole: School Supply Giveaway” will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lee Baron, located at 1524 11th Street, Huntsville, TX. This event, sponsored by local businesses, aims to assist students of all ages by providing a variety of supplies, including notebooks, pencils, and backpacks.
Both events highlight the community’s dedication to education and the collective effort to ensure that every student starts the school year with the necessary tools for success.
