Local radio station and church congregations collaborate in a non-partisan prayer movement for national unity.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Spirit Radio FM and local church congregations are joining forces in a non-partisan initiative to promote unity through prayer. As part of the national 40 Days of Prayer movement, Huntsville residents are invited to participate in daily prayer leading to the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. The event, which kicks off on September 27, 2024, and runs through November 5, 2024, seeks to unite individuals and communities in prayer, regardless of political or denominational affiliations.

The collaboration includes several area churches, including First Baptist Church Huntsville, which will actively engage in the daily prayer efforts alongside Spirit Radio FM’s broadcasts. The station will air daily prayers led by Christian leaders, providing a platform for the local community to unite in faith.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our community to set aside differences and seek God’s guidance together,” said Dr. Jason Bay, Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Huntsville. “We believe that prayer is powerful, and this 40 Days of Prayer event will help strengthen our unity and renew our hearts for what’s to come.”

Spirit Radio FM, a new Christian radio station in Huntsville, will air the prayers each day and encourage listeners to take a moment to reflect on the importance of peace, unity, and godly leadership.

The 40 Days of Prayer movement is non-denominational and non-partisan, making it accessible to everyone in Huntsville, regardless of their background or political views. The campaign focuses on fostering unity through faith and prayer, calling on God to guide leaders and citizens alike during this critical period in American history.
