In addition to academic growth, the school promotes early literacy through initiatives like the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, helping children access free books to nurture a love of reading.
Tomorrow’s Promise Montessori Schools will host a fundraiser at the Walker County Fairgrounds this Saturday, September 14, to benefit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The event aims to raise funds to cover shipping costs for books distributed to children in the area through the Imagination Library, which promotes early childhood literacy by providing free books.
The day will feature three events. Jump Into Your Imagination Kid’s Zone offers activities for children for $10 per child, with tickets available at the gate. For car enthusiasts, the Rev Up Your Imagination Car Show will showcase a variety of vehicles. It costs $25 to enter a car, but spectators can attend for free. Both events will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will also feature vendor shopping, food trucks, and live music.
In the evening, attendees can enjoy the Lasso Your Imagination BBQ Dinner starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance or $65 at the door. The dinner will include adult beverages, entertainment, and several auctions, including silent, live, and dessert auctions.
