SHSU Bearkat Alumni All Paws In Food Drive

“Bearkats All Paws In” is the largest volunteer initiative at SHSU each year. Since its inception, students have given over 10,000 hours of service to the campus and the community. BAPI will take place this year on Saturday, April 13. The Walker County SHSU Alumni Club will be joining forces with the students that day as we live out SHSU’s motto, “The measure of a life is its service.” Whether you are a Bearkat alum or a friend of the university, you are invited to join us as we “Feed ‘Em Up Kats!” We will be hosting a drive-through food drive in the smaller of First National Bank’s parking lots (on 11th street across from the Chamber of Commerce building). All community members are encouraged to drive through and donate food or funds to the SHSU Campus Food Pantry.
SHSU Alumni and friends are invited to meet on campus at the Frank Parker Plaza from 7a.m.-8:30a.m. to meet other Bearkats, hear about different service projects taking place during the day and enjoy light breakfast food.
