After graduating from Sam Houston State University in 1975, Janet worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 20 years. Throughout the years, Janet served her community by volunteering her time and donating to the SAAFE House, Rita B. Huff Animal Shelter, and the C.O.M.E Center. Upon retirement, she enjoyed working in the antique business as a hobby and gained many friendships through that community. Janet, better known as "Nana," was a pillar in the life of her beloved granddaughter, Madison.
Survivors include her brother Kenneth Wade; daughter, Lindsey Frusha; granddaughter, Madison Frusha; and 5 nieces along with their children.
