Obituary For Linda Crowson

Linda Ann Harper Crowson was born on June 20, 1938 in Huntsville, Texas to Johnnie and Esther Beck Harper. She met Jesus face to face on May 1, 2023. Linda grew up in Huntsville and attended area schools and later received her GED. She married the love of her life, Carl Dean Crowson, on June 5, 1954. They lived in Houston, Texas for a time and Linda worked for Southwestern Bell until their first daughter Anita was born. In 1970, they moved back to Huntsville, where they raised three children and were faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christs of Latter-Day Saints for many years. Linda worked various jobs over the years to help support her family and eventually retired from UTMB. She was a selfless, kind person and always loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her children, Anita Bell and husband Michael, Bobby Crowson and wife Carol and Renee Langley and husband Michael. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Heather Keith and husband Jackson, Naomi Heath and husband Colton, Spencer Bell, Lesley Gonzalez, Brittany Crowson, Tyler Crowson, Sean Pool, Trevor Fulks, Justin Killingsworth and husband Tony, Tyler Langley and wife Kalli, Courtney Bates and husband Bearen and Taylor Langley; great-grandchildren Keagn Killingsworth, Brentley Langley, Stetson Bates and Alina Heath. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Harper, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and husband Carl.

The family of Linda would like to thank Huntsville Healthcare Center and Heart to Heart Hospice Care for their kind services.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Services will be Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1803 19th Street, Huntsville, TX 77340. Interment will follow at the Adickes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville. Memorial condolences to the family may be made at www.shmfh.com.
