Obituary For Thyme Lafara Pegoda

We were given the most precious, beautiful, perfect baby girl on Sunday morning. However, we had to give her back as soon as she arrived here on Earth. Thyme Lafara Pegoda. Her life brought so much joy to the household. Not knowing her gender made the concept of baby number three so much more anticipated. While no one got to meet Thyme, her mere presence ignited such a huge ripple of kindness.
The world has been rough on us all. It Hurts. We have been rough on each other. It Hurts. We are all imperfect. We have all been hurt from family, friends, co-workers, believers and non-believers alike. And it Hurts. Our family has experienced no shortage of this pain, and It Hurts. We are all Human, and all of us are still learning to act like Humans.
While trying to navigate these last few days, and what will likely be a long river ahead to travel, we find comfort in the following:
It rains on us all - Matthew 5:45
I have heard this time and time again, one of my fondest memories was leaving the station at shift change during a storm. This Ol' Man who was a treat to be around questioned my sanity as I was leaving on my bike during a storm. What a storm this has been, and will likely continue to be, but after the shock of thunder and lightning that struck Sunday morning, we have found nothing but solace in watching the water rain down. It has filled our hearts with Peace.
This too shall pass - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
All the good days will go away. So will all the bad. We will get new bad days and new good days. Please take your loved ones and embrace with all the emotion the adventure of each day can bring! Each day will Pass.
John 3:16
3:16 is a special set of numbers for us! Most recently Remington used it in a school project trying to encourage others to seek God on their own accord. While you read about our Baby Girl, it is our hope you are inspired to seek a relationship with our Lord Jesus. We Love Each of You. So Does Jesus.
The purpose we have found thus far in God calling Thyme home is that ripple of kindness. I have seen the ripple of kindness all through Texas, to Alaska And North Carolina. Tabbie's seen her ripple from California to the Carolinas and from the mountains of Tennesse through the valleys of Texas and California. Remington and Ruger are blessed to have met so many in our community. Even though they are both so little, it's their friends, those parents, their teachers that have led a lot of this local charge to support our family. Thank you all for loving ALL of our children.
The number of people who have reached out to share their similar story in private is breathtaking. It Hurts. While there will be no more memories that we will make with her, the memory we have of her is perfection. What a struggle it was to get to that concept. As we heard again and again how perfect she was, holding her hand and knowing she wouldn't adventure with us anymore, those words hurt. The following was shared with us by a close friend, and all we will ever see is her perfection from now on.
"God Blessed your Daughter. She had the most pure of Human experiences any of us can have. She was given the gift of never knowing pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, or sloth. She never experienced human guile, she was never lied to, she will never know sin, sadness, or deception. She Only Knew Peace. Our Father took her home in absolute purity. We know that when we get to the gates of heaven she will be awaiting us knowing nothing except Joy, Happiness, Peace and Love." - anonymous

We would like to express our gratitude to all of those who served us in our time of need. Our immediate family was phenomenal. Both Tabbie's and my work families have and continue to go above and beyond, Matthew & Lauren you are seen. The New Waverly Fire Department acted with intent to get Tabbie & Thyme to the care they needed. Houston Methodist The Woodlands ER, ICU, and L&D staffs were all compassionate professionals. The Bobby Mata family chose extreme selflessness to meet any need we had during our intimate time of grief. Lastly, our friends through Second Huntsville, NWISD, and New Waverly Propper - All Have blessed us.

In a world full of hate, Be a Light. May the Peace of God be with you all. - Matt, Tabbie, Remington, Ruger & Thyme Lafara Pegoda
