From Bounce Houses to Community Building, Chris Brown Aims to Make Jump Around Moonwalks a Household Name
HUNTSVILLE, Texas — In a state known for doing things big, one Huntsville entrepreneur is elevating the party rental game with his booming bounce house business, Jump Around Moonwalks. Owner Chris Brown, whose entrepreneurial journey began in high school, is turning the fun into a one-stop-shop for all things party-related, from inflatables to tables, chairs, and even margarita machines.
“It all started back in about 2006 when my parents started an inflatable company,” Brown said. “I sprouted my idea to get started in it when I became an adult. We started Jump Around Moonwalks in 2019.”
Jump Around Moonwalks has grown significantly over the past four years, expanding its inventory beyond moonwalks and bounce houses to include water slides, obstacle courses, and various games. “The goal is to be that one-stop shop,” Brown added. “Most people are already stressed out from putting 1,000 different things together. We aim to put their minds at ease.”
What sets Jump Around Moonwalks apart, according to Brown, is not just the diversity of products but the emphasis on community and character. “I want to create an inheritance for the community,” he noted. “We aim to become a household name in Walker County for generations to come, and you do that by taking care of your community, not just through your business, but through your character.”
The company is deeply involved in community events and partnerships, from hosting its own festivals like the popular “Sunday Funday” to participating in fundraisers and sponsorships. “It’s all about reputation building. Anywhere we can give back, we definitely try our absolute best,” Brown said.
However, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. “We’ve had many challenges, but we overcome those by being faithful to the process, faithful to our God, and faithful to the character we want to show others,” Brown explained.
When asked about his favorite memories, Brown couldn’t choose just one. “There are so many moments, whether it’s seeing the joy on kids’ faces at our events or the sense of community at our fundraisers. Each adds a layer to why we do what we do,” he said.

Brown’s vision, much like the inflatables he rents, seems to only be getting bigger, elevating not just parties but the entire community one bounce at a time.
