Students and families from across five counties will gather for an evening of worship, testimonies, and prayer at Fields of Faith.

HUNTSVILLE, TX — The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will host its second annual Fields of Faith event on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Alpha Omega Academy’s football field. The event, designed to unite students and families in a night of worship and prayer, invites all from Walker, Trinity, Polk, Houston, and San Jacinto counties to attend.

The event begins at 6:00 p.m., with the field opening and food being served. The official program will start at 6:30 p.m., featuring student testimonies, worship, and community prayer. The evening will conclude with a closing prayer at 8:00 p.m.

Allen Barnes, Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church Huntsville, shared his excitement for the event. “Fields of Faith is an incredible opportunity for students to hear powerful testimonies and witness the work FCA is doing,” he said. “It’s an awesome way to come together as a community, as youth groups from different churches forgo their usual ministry meetings to be here.”

Last year’s Fields of Faith event drew around 400 attendees, and organizers expect another large turnout this year. FCA invites all students and families to join them in sparking a spiritual movement emphasizing reading the Bible and applying its teachings in daily life.
