Kappa Alpha Cook Out

Join the SHSU Kappa Alpha fraternity in kicking off Founder’s Day with live music and BBQ! Saturday March 23 from 10am to 6pm, listen to guest speaker Charlie Melton, a Navy seal, enjoy music by Canaan Bryce, take a chance at a raffle and eat some great BBQ, featuring chicken, brisket, sausage and boudin! Cost per plate ranges from $17 to $27 and 50% of the event proceeds will help provide wheelchairs for veterans who have lost their legs in combat, through the Operation K.A.R.E. organization.
