Community invited to honor fallen heroes with special program and silent auction
HUNTSVILLE, TX — The HEARTS Veterans Museum of Texas and The American Legion Post 95 are set to host a Memorial Day event on Monday, May 27, at 5 p.m. The event aims to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
Weather permitting, the program will be held outdoors at 1919 American Legion Drive and will feature a special guest speaker, music, and a silent auction. Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to join in fellowship at the Legion.
In preparation for the event, the organizers are seeking silent auction items. Those interested in contributing can call the museum at 936-295-5959 Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Admission to the event is free. The community is encouraged to participate and show their support for the veterans and their families.
