Dennis Allen Carlson Sunrise: May 17, 1935 Sunset: September 29, 2026 Dennis Allen Carlson’s sunrise began on May 17, 1935, in Hibbing, Minnesota, where he was born to Verne and Barbara Carlson. The oldest of four children, Dennis spent his early years in Minnesota before moving to Texas at the age of 14, where he would build a beautiful life filled with family, friendship, and love. On March 17, 1955, Dennis married the love of his life, JeNele.

Together, they shared 71 years of marriage, creating a lifetime of memories and a family that Dennis deeply loved. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father to their three sons, always guiding, encouraging, and supporting them throughout their lives. Dennis was preceded in sunset by his beloved wife, JeNele; his son, Kurt Carlson; his parents, Vernon and Barbara Carlson; and his best friend of 66 years, Brienson Sankston.

Dennis leaves behind his sons, Eric Carlson and Karl Carlson and his daughter-in-law, Kim; his siblings, Tommy Carlson, Sharon Deweyer, and Karen Carlson; many beloved nieces and nephews; many cherished grandchildren; and countless friends whose lives were touched by his friendship and presence. Dennis’s sunset came on September 29, 2026, closing a life that spanned 91 years and leaving behind the memories, lessons, and love he shared with those around him.

Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the life he built and the love he gave will continue through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dennis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
