In Loving Memory of Rita Jones Rita Jones, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the age of 81. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy woven with love, family devotion, and warmth. Born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, Rita spent her formative years there before marrying the love of her life, Jimmie Jones. Together, they built a beautiful life and home in New Caney, where her heart completely belonged to her family.
Rita found her truest calling as a wonderful domestic engineer as Rita would call it. (stay-at-home) mother, dedicating her life to creating a nurturing and loving environment for her two sons, Shane and Bryan Jones. Her gentle guidance, patience, and unwavering support formed the foundation of their lives. Later in life, Rita found immense joy in becoming a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her six grandchildren, who brought endless light and laughter to her world.
Her love and spirit will live on through them. Rita is survived by her loving sons, Shane Jones and Bryan Jones; and her seven beloved grandchildren, Coy Allen “Jeremiah", Megan Jones, Jonathan Jones, Shelby Jones, Kaiden Kaps, Danice Jones, and Bryan Jones Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmie Jones Rita will be laid to rest in Falba Cemetery on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
