Local high school athlete Shelbee Adkins has just signed her commitment to continue her volleyball career and education at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) this fall. Adkins, a star player for the Huntsville Lady Hornets, celebrated her commitment to play sand volleyball for the ETBU Tigers with family and friends at the school’s final signing ceremony of the season.
Shelbee Adkins has made a significant impact on the Huntsville Lady Hornet Volleyball team, leading the squad in Aces this past season and breaking a school record. In recognition of her achievements, she added her name to the record board in the foyer of Paul Bohan Gym recently. In addition to her athletic prowess, Adkins has excelled academically, exemplifying the true meaning of a student-athlete.
