Tiffany’s graduation from Sam Houston University further cemented their decision to expand in the city.
For those wondering what to expect when stepping inside Volume Music, Cochran assures a diverse range. “We’ll have both new and used products, novelties, T-shirts, pop toys, novelty socks, posters, pins, and other music-related items,” he shared. The Cochran couple’s journey into the music business began in the ’80s, both having worked at Sound Warehouse in Houston. Their love for music led them to open the Woodlands branch in November 2019, although the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily halted operations. The pandemic also saw a surge in vinyl collection as more people sought comfort in music during lockdowns.
Local artists have a special place at Volume Music. In The Woodlands store, several local artists have had the opportunity to perform, a tradition they wish to carry into their Huntsville location.
